fronted by Nikki Rich, a veteran of many diverse bands and orchestras from the Chicago jobbing scene, is a group that consists of seasoned pros alongside young graduates from the prestigious Berklee college of Music. Together they have created Chicago's newest and most diverse cover band/orchestra called NEO Orchestra. With a front line up of 2 male and 2 female singers (2 African American, 2 Caucasian), the band is a vocal locomotive providing a lush, LIVE wall of harmony. The diversity of the repertoire is limitless!! NEO Orchestra prides itself on recreating all the songs they play with 100% effort and good time! Their love of music and performing is evident as the band has a great time playing together and thie fun is infectious as it spills off the stage and onto the dance floor! NEO Orchestra presents stellar vocalists, Will Larkin, Treneka Lenay, and Hunter Geye who learn the songs and perform all the vocal parts live – with 4 lead vocalists and 2 backing vocalists, they don’t need any karaoke tracks to support them.
The diversity and styles of the four vocalists allow the group to cover a wide range of styles and genres through the decades – from the 30’s through the present day hits. This repertoire allows NEO Orchestra to provide music for any event – wedding, bar/bat-mitzvah, birthday party, anniversary, holiday party, corporate event, street festival, nightclub, concert series, etc… NEO Orchestra varies in size from 6 to 12 pieces and prides itself on working hard to bring the right musical atmosphere to each event they are a part of. They can provide elegant cocktail and dinner music along with non stop high energy music to keep a crowded dance floor. The ever growing song list reflects requests that NEO Orchestra has happily learned for many clients and will continue to do so.
Looking for something just a little bit smaller? NEO Orchestra has a quartet - vocals, piano and a rhythm section that can cover a wide repertoire of music, perfect for a cocktail hour or an evening's entertainment.

In planning a surprise party for my wife’s 50th birthday, I considered many leading ‘special events’ bands and orchestras in the Chicagoland area. When I found Maryann &the Professors (A.K.A. The NEO Orchestra), the search was over. The energy and authenticity in this band’s music – from Sinatra to Talking Heads was way above other bands. Even my teenage children (dismissive normally of anything I might like) wholeheartedly approved.
I was lucky to find this band. Everything they did exceeded my expectations. From the moment I met her, Nikki Rich, the lead singer and manger, was focused on making sure the event was a success.
